Voices of Real Women of Philadelphia Contest
OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND D.C., 18 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER ONLY
  1. ELIGIBILITY: Open only to female residents of the 50 United States and Washington, DC who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Kraft Foods Global, Inc. ("Sponsor"), EQAL, their parent, affiliated companies, and their promotional, advertising, and public relations agencies and their subsidiaries, agents and the families or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter or win.
  2. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking the ultimate cheerleader of our "Real Women of Philadelphia" community ("RWOP") whom we deem our "biggest fan." To find this amazing lady, the following factors will be considered:
    • Are you active on Facebook? Show us how much you support this community by using Facebook Share links on the videos as well as posting about RWOP on your Facebook wall. We'll be looking at the frequency and quality of your use of Facebook to promote the community. When you post to Facebook make sure to put an "@" sign before the word "Philadelphia" so that your post also shows up on the "LoveMyPhilly" Facebook fan page.
    • How about Twitter? Are you an active tweeter? Show us that you really love this community by retweeting recipes, retweeting Paula's videos, and sending out your own tweets about the community. Again, we'll be looking at frequency of your tweets and quality of the tweets. When you send out tweets, add the hash tag #RWOP to your tweets.
    • Do you have a blog? Write blog stories about RWOP and tell us about them. We'll have a forum thread for you to post links to your blog posts. Once again, we'll be looking at not only the quantity, but the quality. Once you write your blog post, come to the forum at www.RealWomenOfPhiladelphia/Forum and leave us the link to your post under the section "General Discussion" and the category "Voices of RWoP – Blog Links"
    • We know y'all love commenting on the site and the recipes, so keep that up. We'll be looking at how often you are commenting and the quality of the comments you are leaving for each other.
  3. HOW TO ENTER: We will automatically review the above postings, looking for our "biggest fan." However, if you would like to write us something particular about you or your passion for the RWOP community, sign up for an account on the website and write a "Note" on your profile page and then click "Submit this Note" on the Note page.
  4. JUDGING: EQAL, whose decisions are final in all matters relating to this contest, will judge the above factors based on: (a) quantity of postings (20%); (b) enthusiasm for the RWOP community (40%) and quality of postings (40%). In the event of a tie, tied entries will be re-judged on the basis of quality of postings. Potential winner will be notified by mail and/or phone. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that, in its sole opinion, refers, depicts or in any way reflects negatively upon the Sponsor, EQAL, Paula Deen, the promotion or any other person or entity.
  5. PRIZE & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE: One (1) Grand Prize: Trip for winner to Savannah, GA for 5-days/4-nights from June 27 – July 1. Winner will have the opportunity to meet Paula Deen and the finalists. Winner will receive a video camera to record the behind the scenes action. Winner will attend all events related to the Live Event Cook-Off including dinners with the Finalists, tours of Savannah, and the Live Event itself. Winner will have opportunity to take pictures, shoot video, and write stories about the event. All materials will then be supplied to Sponsor or its designee for inclusion on the RWOP website or elsewhere, as determined by Sponsor. Trip also includes hotel accommodations for 4-nights, round trip transportation between airport, hotel and studio and meals. Total prize value: approximately $4,000. Limit one prize per family/household. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted by winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Prize will be awarded.
  6. GENERAL RULES: Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Potential winner may be subject to a background investigation, including but not limited to criminal record information. Any potential winner who has been convicted of a felony or if information discovered during the verification process is deemed to be potentially harmful to the image of the Sponsor (as deemed by the Sponsor in its sole discretion), the potential winner will be disqualified (and an alternate selected, if time permits). Potential winner (or parent/legal guardian if potential winner is a minor) must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Prize Acceptance Form within 5 days of attempted notification. Noncompliance within this time period may result in disqualification in which case an alternate may be selected, if time permits. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and alternate selection, if time permits. Contestants consent to the use of any materials or work product created while in Savannah, as well as their name/likeness, to be available to the public online or in other media including but not limited to internet, television, radio and magazines for publicity, advertising and promotional purposes without additional right of approval or compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting prize, winner agrees to hold Sponsor, EQAL, their directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use or receipt of prize. Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. Sponsor is not responsible for misdirected or undeliverable e-mail/text messages or for any technical problems, malfunctions of any telephone lines, cell phones, computer systems, servers, providers, hardware/software, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission or any combination thereof. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or the like methods of participation will void all such submissions. Sponsor and its affiliated companies will not be responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries, video entries damaged during judging or quality of live event video entries or prize notices or for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the contest, or announcement of the prizes. Sponsor reserves the right to, without prior notice and at any time, terminate this contest, in whole or in part, or modify this game in any way, should any factor interfere with its proper conduct as contemplated by these Official Rules.
  7. WINNER: For the name of the winner, visit RealWomenOfPhiladelphia.com after June 27, 2010.
