  • Servings: 6
  • 6 Fillets of Tilapia
  • 1 pound(s) of Shrimp
  • 1 tsp. of Lemon Pepper
  • 1 tsp. of Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp. of Gumbo File
  • 2 tsp. of Louisiana Cajun Gumbo Mix
  • 2 tsp. of Cayenne Pepper
  • 3 tsp. of Parsley Flakes
  • 2 Stick of Butter
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup(s) of Green Onions
  • 1/2 cup(s) of Cream of Celery
  • 8 ounce(s) of Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 cup(s) of Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 cup(s) of Portabella Mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup(s) of Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
  • 2 tsp. of Blackened Seasoning
Steps
  1. Place 1 tsp of blackened seasoning, lemon pepper, garlic powder, gumbo file, cayenne pepper and Cajun gumbo mix in to a bowl/cup and stir together until evenly mixed.
  2. Season the Tilapia by rubbing the mixture on both sides of each fillet.
  3. Place one burner on the stove on Medium High Heat
  4. Begin melting a stick of butter in your pan
  5. Once butter begins to melt place tilapia in the pan cooking the first side
  6. While tilapia is cooking in the first pan, turn the second burner on the stove to medium, and place the 2nd stick butter into a second pan to begin melting.
  7. Ensure you are monitoring the tilapia in your 1st pan, flipping it over to the opposite side when browning begins.
  8. Once butter is melted in the 2nd pan, add chopped garlic, green onions, portabella mushrooms, cream of celery, cream cheese, and heavy cream stirring to ensure you receive a well blended sauce.
  9. Lower the heat on your 1st pan to low to ensure the tilapia does not overcook or stick to the pan.
  10. Add 1 tsp of blackened seasoning, cayenne pepper, parsley flakes, and Cajun gumbo mix to 2nd pan stirring each seasoning added to mixture
  11. While continuing to stir, add shrimp to 2nd pan, stirring until shrimp is bright pink.
  12. Add mozzarella cheese, stir until sauce is completed blended.
  13. Place tilapia on a serving dish
  14. Top the tilapia with the creamy sauce.
  15. Place 2 tsp of parsley flakes across dish for garnishment.
  16. Enjoy!

oops! SEE!! I DID it again.. some how submit the post before Im ready. Def. not a Tech person. more of a kitchen person. I sent my first mesaage text yesteday.. took me lik 20 minutes! LOL. My kids laugh atme all the time.. Well here we go.. what a journey.. I cannot wait..This is New Beginnings Ladies - I feel it! Cooking has always been my destiny, and Ive been in and out of it often..when I worked at TWA, then left there after 7 years I was in a panic, about not having "cash and career" so I soon became the Cheesecake Lady.. taking orders from hundreds of TWA er s after I left, filling the station wagon to the brim with Cheese cakes and cookie orders to deliver 3 hrs. away.. AWESOME!! That was my beginning of "I can do this--coking thing 'single handed" I moved on to wedding cakes, and catering college grad dinners and much more.. BUT THIS...THIS IS SOO MUCH MORE.. this is the Creme De La Creme, the impact of all our lives will be astounding. The generousity..of this gift from Paula, makes my heart want to burst! We are among the very blessed -gals! And what a blast it
