Flower Pots
Portland, Oregon is known as the City of Roses - well, that and The City of Rain but I wanted to share a fun, EZ dessert that portrays a bright side of this Pacific Northwest City

  • 2 cubes butter
  • 8 ounce(s) of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
  • 1 tsp. of lime zest
  • 8 ounce(s) of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
  • 16 ounce(s) of Shaved Coconut
  • 1 tsp. of green food color
  • 1 tsp. of package cake mix
  • 2 pound(s) of pure cane powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp. of meringue powder
Steps
  1. Mix cake mix and fill small flower pots half way full and bake for about 15 minutes
  2. Mix coconut and 8 ounces of cream cheese, coloring with green food coloring
  3. Frost the green "grass" onto the little flower pots
  4. Mix the pure cane sugar (powdered sugar), with softened cream cheese, meringue powder, and zest until thick
  5. Pipe frosting out of pastry bag onto flower nail, as shown in video.
  6. Stick frosting flowers on toothpicks and stick in baskets.
  7. Wah-Law - Flowerpot cupcakes!
