This week has been all about your holiday traditions and we can’t wait to share some of your favorites from the week! 

Tasty traditions are always a hit during the holiday season: DGOIL shared how she always makes time to whip up cookies and candy for the holidays while CAROL CARUTHERS shared that a little red schoolhouse is home to candy crackers and cheese on her kitchen table!

Along with tasty traditions we also learned that many of our Real Women love playing games during the holiday season! Whether it’s KIRSTEN’s dicecapades PAULA MUSEGADES catch phrase or COLEEN MCCREA KATZ playing cutthroat Pollyanna we loved learning about how you get in in on the fun! 

Last but certainly not least a wonderful holiday tradition many of you shared was how you give back during this time of year. NANCY MANLOVE shared how she would cook 12 meals and deliver them to the Salvation Army shelter while STEELMOM shared that her daughter was at the soup kitchen with her cheer squad giving back!

We loved getting in the holiday spirit these past four weeks and the fun isn’t over just yet! Meet us back here Monday when a very special guest makes a visit with some VERY sweet and exciting news!

I’ve enjoyed reading about all your Holiday Traditions this week and I’m back to share another one!

I started this tradition a few years back and it’s the perfect way to show my closest friends that they mean so much to me. I call this tradition: My Five Favorite Things! To make this tradition your own all you have to do is give your closest friends and family a bag with your five favorite things from the year: it could be anything from your favorite lipgloss to a kitchen tool that was a true life saver!

We loved reading about all of your favorite Love From the Oven ideas these last few days – from cake pops to frozen treats here are a few highlights from the week!

KELLY SHIPPEY AND SHARON SORENSEN both shared how freezing fruit makes for a sweet treat – peaches strawberries and bananas were a few of their favorites but we also love the idea of freezing other fruits like mango grapes and blueberries!

After seeing AMY's idea for pecan pie pops we wondered what other people were filling their pie pops with! We found a great recipe HERE for peach pie pops…yum!     

KARLA shared that she would be making caramels this year that can easily be whipped up in the microwave…genius! MICHELE PETERSEN also shared how she loves to use eggnog in different types of breads cookies and even fudge!
